We predict that consumers’ aspiration for better health will continue to grow; in response, we have revamped the quality standards of our products even higher by newly obtaining the ISO9001 and Organic JAS certifications.

1. Make products with care and empathy for the customers.
2. Always try to improve the work process and eliminate wastefulness.
3. Each employee shall engage in work with the intent of quality improvement and efficient productions.

We follow those guidelines to promptly meet the variable needs of our customers and to develop safe, high-quality products.

* ISO9001 Certification

ISO9001 was established as an international quality-standard model in 1987 by ISO (International Organization for Standardization). Since then, it has spread remarkably fast, marking an enormous influence on product development ethics since it was established as JIS in Japan in 1991.

* Organic JAS Certification

Organic farm products inspection and certification system
Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries established the JAS standard of organic farm products and organic processed foods.
Those products must be examined and approved under the Organic JAS standard. It is permitted for products to indicate Organic JAS marks such as “Organic tomato”, “Organic fermented soybeans”, and “Organic tea”. The JAS standard regulates confusing indications such as “Organic low pesticide products” and “Organic low pesticide cultivation”. Imported products also have to be certified with the Organic JAS to be sold as organic JAS products in Japan.

* Good Manufacturing Practice Certification (GMP Certification)

GMP, originally established as a quality control system for medical supplies by the World Health Organization (WHO), was set in the United States as a standard for food, medicine, and cosmetics regulation in 1962. Various countries promptly adopted the GMP standard in 1969, marking the enforcement of GMP in international trade. In Japan, the Ministry of Health and Welfare Pharmaceutical Affairs Bureau forwarded a GMP regulation for medical supplies in 1974. It was promulgated as the Ministry of Health and Welfare law in 1980, and in 1994, was revised to become the essential certification for pharmaceutical firms to be permitted as quality manufacturers.
